Hello, all Full Year Classrooms! Can you believe the 2023-2024 Program Year is here?!
We’re ready to close out the 22-23 program year in ChildPlus at the end of the day on Friday, June 30th. One thing that will happen is that ALL children who are marked as New, Waitlisted, or Accepted in 2022-2023 but who did not get rolled over into 2023-2024 will be marked as Abandoned.
Basically, any child who did not get enrolled in the program in 2022-2023 gets marked abandoned. This does not mean you cannot still work the file if the family is interested.
We don’t carry over NEW or WAITLIST children into the 2023-2024 year. You need to reach out to families to ask if they are still interested in services. If yes, make a new participation record, update info, re-verify income & eligibility and send file to assigned Intake Diva for review and acceptance.
As of Wednesday, July 5th, no one is enrolled in your classrooms! . On the first day of the program year, all children are marked as “Accepted” and cannot be changed to “Enrolled” until the first day they show up in a classroom. For home visitors, they get marked as enrolled on their first home visit.
So, for today, you will need to run your attendance sheets based on children who are ACCEPTED. They DO NOT show up in CP Entry Express (on laptop or iPad) until they are marked ENROLLED. Then, before the end of the day, the C&F Supervisor will need to go into ChildPlus and change all of the statuses of children who showed up today to ENROLLED.
** If a child shows up who has NOT been ACCEPTED for 23-24 in ChildPlus, they cannot stay. All children must be Accepted before they can be Enrolled. **
