ChildPlus Online: Site Locator

UPDATE:

The SITE LOCATOR feature has moved from the desktop version of ChildPlus to the online version of ChildPlus.

1. Click on the 3 “more” dots at the top right of the ChildPlus Online screen

2. Select SITE LOCATOR from the list

   
   

New in ChildPlus Online: Site Locator

Previously only available in ChildPlus Desktop, 

Site Locator

 is now available in ChildPlus Online, on desktop and tablet screen sizes only (mobile devices are not currently supported).

Site List and Map

• All sites display in a list to the left of an interactive map, numbered to match their corresponding map pins.

• Each site in the list shows vacancies, accepted count and waitlisted count, broken down by Program Option where applicable.

• Clicking a site in the list highlights its map pin in green and pans the map to that location.

• Sites with addresses that cannot be mapped are excluded from the map but still appear in the list with a "This address cannot be mapped" note.

• The map automatically adjusts to show all pins when results load.

• Only active sites are shown by default.

Nearby Site Search

: Search for sites near a family's home by address or ZIP code, with sites sorted by distance from the entered location.

• Filters

  • Narrow your results using several filters:

    • Agency

      : View sites and enrollment for one agency at a time.

    • Program Term

      : Show only sites with classrooms in a specific Program Term. You will only see active, current Program Terms you have access to.

    • Program Option

      : Within a selected Program Term, narrow results further by Program Option.

    • Show

      : Choose to show all sites or only sites that currently have vacancies.

    • Include Inactive Sites

      : View inactive sites on the map and in the site list.

  • Filter selections are saved per user and auto-populate the next time

     is opened.

• Site List and Map Printing

  : Click or tap 

  Print Map

   to open a print-ready page with a static map image and full site list, including enrollment statistics per Program Option.

• Access Permissions

  • Users with the appropriate Security Group permissions can access 

    Site Locator

     in ChildPlus Online.

  • The 

    Site Locator

     menu option displays in the 

    More

    menu in the top navigation only for users with the appropriate permissions.

  • Results are limited to sites with classrooms each user has access to.
