Participant Meals Reimbursement Unknown
When a student does not have his/her CACFP status set in the ATTENDANCE tab of the SERVICE module, then meals served will appear as PARTICIPANT MEAL REIMBURSEMENT UNKNOWN in meal count reports.
Missing CACFP STATUS in ATTENDANCE DEFAULTS
Here is an example of a student who has not had his/her CACFP status set in his personal ATTENDANCE tab.
Setting the CACFP Status In ATTENDANCE DEFAULTS Section
It is standard practice that all students have theri CACFP status set to FREE (FULL REIMBURSEMENT) when they are marked as being enrolled. To do this:
In ChildPlus Online, go to the SERVICES module
Select the specific student you wish to update
Go to the student’s ATTENDANCE tab
Click on CURRENT YEAR
Click on the 3 more dots to the right of ATTENDANCE HISTORY
Click on ATTENDANCE DEFAULTS
In the CACFP Status drop-down menu, select FREE (FULL REIMBURSEMENT)
Click the green SAVE button
Setting the CACFP Status In ATTENDANCE HISTORY Section
If the CACFP status was not set in the ATTENDANCE DEFAULTS section before a student starts in a classroom (or if the CACFP status needs to be corrected after a student has begun attendance), after a student already has attendance records, the CACFP Status also needs to be set for each individual day the student was present in the ATTENDANCE HISTORY section.
For each day a student is present:
Go to the ATTENDANCE HISTORY section
Select a day when the student was present and the CACFP column is empty or does not say FREE
Click into the CACFP drop-down menu and select FREE (FULL REIMBURSEMENT)
