Why does my Performance Panel not display the sample numbers I expected?

Authors list

When viewing a Performance Panel in ChildPlus Online, you may notice that your base numbers do not match the expected total. If this happens you may not be seeing data from all of the locations or classrooms that you are expecting to see. Here are steps you can take to verify the locations/ Classrooms being shown in your Performance Panel (and how to modify the list):

Performance Panel Settings 01.png

Click on the ellipsis (...) at the top right of the Performance Panel screen. This is the three dots surrounded by a blue box.

Next, Click on SETTINGS.

Verify the locations being shown for your Performance Panel. If all locations and classrooms are present, then you will see the world ALL in blue. If you see anything else, then your Performance Panel has been filtered by a specific list of locations and/or classrooms.

If you want to change the list, click on the blue text next to Location.

The location screen shows three boxes representing:

-- ALL

-- No Agency

-- MVCDC

BOX LEGEND:

-- An empty box - This means none of its sub-categories are checked

-- A blue square - This means some of its sub-categories are selected

-- A box with a checkmark in it - This means ALL its sub-categories are selected

By clicking on the right arrows next to each box, it will open up the items that are listed within that specific category.

Again, the boxes have three statuses:

-- An empty box - This means nothing has been selected

-- A blue square - This means some items have been selected

-- A box with a checkmark in it - This means all of the items have been selected

If you want to include a location or classroom in your Performance Panel, make sure the box has a blue checkmark in it.

Alternately, if you do not want to include a specific location or classroom, make sure the box is empty.

When your list is setup with the locations you wish to see in your Performance Panel, click the green OK button.

UPDATES:

ChildPlus has made updates to ChildPlus Online and the Performance Panels since this video was created:

  • ChildPlus now has the option to show the modules across the top in a banner rather than in a drop-down menu, if you are viewing ChildPlus Online in a large screen format, such as a tablet or a laptop. Small screens, such as a mobile phone or small tablet, will still use the drop-down menu format exclusively. To change how your menu is displayed, in the person icon in the top right corner of the page, then select MENU LAYOUT.

  • If you would like to see more details about how the data for a specific indicator is being pulled from the database, you can click on the INFORMATION button within each indicator. The INFORMATION button looks like a small letter i inside a circle.

  • It is now possible to export the entire Performance Panel within one PDF file. Or you can choose to export individual indicators separately, if that is desired. To export individual indicators, click into the specific indicator and then export it to a PDF file.
