ChildPlus for Desktop (on a Windows PC)
Make sure that you have access to your work email account before attempting your first login, since ChildPlus uses two-factor authentication and will send a code to your email (or mobile phone, if it is in your account).
Once ChildPlus is installed, you should see the following icon on your desktop:

Click on the icon to open ChildPlus.

When the next window appears, you will need to enter the agency ID.

Our agency ID is MiamiValley – typed exactly like that.

Then enter your username and password (which will come via email) and select Sign In.
Note: Be careful here. The username box (top) may have another username in it from the initial download of the installation file. Make sure to delete it if it does and enter YOUR username in the top box.
Since ChildPlus uses two-factor authentication, you will be asked to select the email address or mobile phone number to send the access code. When you receive the access code via your work email account, enter it.
Warning! You are now in the live database, so any changes you make will take effect.
Exit ChildPlus (click on the X in upper right corner) and LOG IN AGAIN with your new password to activate it in the software.
